Cryptocurrency forum, iAuditor win and HSBNE funding

Here’s what happened in the week that was!

Cryptocurrency event “Global Digital Currency Conversation (GDCC) Forum in Brisbane” was announced last week. Held from November 16-17th, the event is designed to coincide with the city’s G20 summit.

Townsville workplace health and safety company SafetyCulture won two Tabby Awards for their flagship product iAuditor. It was the only app to win twice, and ranks up against giants like Adobe.

HackerSpaceBrisbane (HSBNE) surpassed their Kickstarter goal of $6,000.  Australia’s first Hackerspace raised $6,807, which will go towards upgrading their facilities and existing equipment, as well as purchasing additional tools and machinery.
