StartupQLD launches interactive map of our ecosystem

Not-for-profit group StartupQLD launched an interactive and editable map of the state’s ecosystem earlier today.

The map offers a comprehensive overview of the state’s startups and support systems, and includes categories such as research, startups, game studios, co-working, startup support (i.e. groups, incubators, accelerators), industry groups and investors.

But like the SEQ transit map we launched in 2013, there are always things to improve: for example, while they have mapped most of Cairns’ support system, only one of their current startups (CatchLog) has been included. To this end, unclassified startups can submit their information via the map’s “Add A Place” option, and existing startups can also update their information.

You can find the new map at StartupQLD or embedded below, along with our transit map for comparison.

Our "Startup SEQ Transit Map," was launched in 2013 and also encouraged community input.
